Mohamed Beddiar a reçu une formation classique en conservatoire, fin de cycle, clarinette et flûte ainsi qu’une formation avancée d’arrangement et d’écriture jazz à l’I.A.C.P.avec Stéphane et Lionel Belmondo, Carine Bonnefoy, Christophe Dalssaso.

En parallèle il suit un cursus avancé à l’American School of Music (Berklee School in Paris) avec Karl Riley, étudie en paralléle avec Gerald Beckett, flutiste Jazz Americain de renommé et Ami du M.J.P. 

 

 

Il étudie également les musiques du Monde avec des musiciens de renommée internationale tels que :

Trilok Gurtu, Jorge Pardo (Barcelona1998-99), Roger Despland, (Caraîbes 1994-95), Pierre Mélato (jazz Italie) 2001-2003

Karl Riley (American School, Paris2001-2002), feu Ibrahima Gueye,

Gerald Beckett (San Fransisco) et bien d’autres...

 

..Au regard de l 'univers du Jazz actuel, Mohamed Beddiar développe un chant, un récit unique, fidèle à son personnage, nous frayant un chemin vers l'Orientalisme, défendant les couleurs Méditerranéennes, insufflant dans ses improvisations les modes Orientaux, Grecques,Géorgiens.. 

A la croisée des rythmes et mélodies qui bercent ces traditions ancestrales, Mohamed sait nous faire voyager à travers les vestiges sonores dans une mosaïque de couleurs toujours singulièrement surprenante, douce et rythmée.

Mohamed Beddiar received a classical training in clarinet and flute at the conservatory as well as an advanced training in jazz arrangement and writing at the I.A.C.P. with Stephane and Lionel Belmondo, Carine Bonnefoy, Christophe Dalssaso. In parallel he did an advance course at the America School of Music (Berklee School in Paris) with Karl Riley and also studies with Gerald Beckett, famous American jazz flutist and friend of M.J.P.
